Read the battle rules. Please. Battle Rules That's the link. I think you are rushing yourself right now. And should slow down. Take time to consider how the card is being used in the end. We do have brawls you can read to see things in action too. Demonstration A
EXTRA: I say this because WORDING is important. What is On a Gate Card. If all brawls require one to move forward. Why can't you use this ability without a gate card? Does a negated gate card still count on the field. Answer in order is. Bakugan will always be on a gate card. You can't brawl without one. Second abilities cards requiring a gate card needs to be discussed as a type of fusion or not. So thank you for bringing that to the front. And lastly. Yes. It absolutely does. With out the gate card a brawl terminates with no winner of that round. Meaning reset time.
