A New Composition

[Itsuki Kita]

Itsuki takes his first step off the bus of freedom. Never in his life did he think he would be leaving his mother and father this early in his life, but it had to be done. He believed moving somewhere new would lead to making new friends, meeting new people, and coming up with new strategies, the possibilities were endless.

Itsuki was wearing a baggy white top with an illustration of a dragon breathing fire directly at the viewer. He was wearing black baggy tracksuit pants with an elastic that gripped his ankles. A black cap covered the mess of his hair after the long bus ride. Inside a small chest pocket on his T-shirt sat a small green Bakugan head sticking out the top. He was pulling a large black rectangular suitcase behind him.

"Here we are, finally," Itsuki said looking up at the sky without a cloud. The weather was beautiful, gentle sun, a slight breeze, just the perfect symphony.

"So where is this place?" a voice said from Itsuki's pocket. Altair moved from the pocket to Itsuki's shoulder. "I honestly haven't looked," Itsuki replied reaching into his right pocket. He rumbled around in his pocket before pulling out a sleek black phone. He looked at the phone for a short time, punching away at the screen.

"Dammit, I've gotten off one stop too early. Now we have a 20-minute walk, aren't I a smart one?" Itsuki said slamming the palm of his right hand into his head. "That's okay, we are here for a new adventure remember?" Altair said in an attempt to brighten Itsuki's mood.

"Your right, let's do this!" Itsuki said with a large smile appearing on his face. He began walking forward, the smile still ear to ear on his face.

[Vail]

     It wont be long though before something truly abrupt happens though. As the two are walking along. Eventually seeing a game shop called Game Gunners is in view. The closer they get, the more snobby a voice sounds. When close enough. They would see a Gundalian without a disguise toss a very rich looking brat out of his store. The growl in his voice chasing Rich Brat away. Despite his clearly unpleasant disposition. He looks simple enough. His green eyes being the only odd color out. With a combination of grey's and browns. "That's the third time this day. Crobalt. He's getting bold. If I see him again, I'm knocking a few teeth lose from his face." Yup. Aggressive.

    "Now now Vail. Relax chill. Go with the flow man." The bakugan at his side has an American surfer personality going for him so far. "Besides. I can't sell popcorn without enterainment. Make sure to leave a few teeth for next time." That's not so chill. Vail rolls his eyes at the comment too. "Oh. Know what we could do? Smile, and Advertise!" He floats right up to Itsuki if he stayed to watch. "Take this kid for example. Look how happy he is! But at the same time so saaaaaad. We should brawl him. That sounds like fun. Right kid? Brawl brawl brawl! GAH!" Vail snaps up Crobalt. Then violently throws the bakugan into a trash can. Damaging the can. "I'm okay! I can't feel pain!"

    "I apologize on his behalf." At least his brawler is attempting to be polite. . . Despite looking perpetually angry.

[Itsuki Kita]

Itsuki is walking as he begins hearing a voice in the distance, this piques his interest and he begins looking for the source as he continues. As a store bearing the name, Game Gunners, comes into view, he realizes that's where the voice is coming from. He slows down his stride in interest as he hears another voice coming from the store.

It didn't take long for a person to come tumbling out of the store. He looked well off with his designer clothing and overall smug appearance. Another male followed him out seeming to chase him away from the store. This male seemed confident but aggressive. This peaked Itsuki's interest almost immediately. Itsuki heard the male say something but couldn't quite understand what he had said.

Another voice came from what seemed like out of nowhere, this voice immediately drew Itsuki's attention to the Bakugan beside the male. The Bakugan began rattling on and Itsuki stopped to listen to it. After a short time, the Bakugan flew up to Itsuki, "Take this kid for example. Look how happy he is! But at the same time so saaaaaad. We should brawl him. That sounds like fun. Right kid? Brawl brawl brawl! GAH!"

'Well, he isn't exactly wrong about that," Itsuki quickly thought to himself.

Before Itsuki could open his mouth, the male snaps the Bakugan out of the air, throwing him into a nearby trash can. Itsuki jumped a little bit before the Bakugan made its witty remark.

The male apologized to Itsuki which immediately made him lower his now heightened guard slightly.

"Not an issue, quite the performance," Itsuki said scratching the back of his head, the smile on his face looking slightly more awkward.

"Actually, a brawl might be the thing I need to motivate me to unpack." Itsuki turned his head to Altair who was still resting on his shoulder, "Yes, I like these guys already."

"Oh, names Itsuki, Itsuki Kita, and this is Altair." Itsuki held his hand out offering a handshake to the male.

[Vail]

    "I'm Vail. That is Crobalt." The bakugan floats back to vail. "Gonna warn you though. I'm not going to go easy on you."

    "Vail you should totally go easy on him."

    "Quiet you." He flicks away Crobalt. "I have a Interspace Port in my shop. I will let my employee run the shop as I brawl you. We take turns brawling newbies, and new faces to get them used to the shop." He leads the way into the shop. When inside, it feels rather cozy. A few candy machines, snacks at the counter, shelves for products. Tables for other games. Screens to display Bakugan Interspace Battles. He's really made this into a nice little shop. There is also plenty of people enjoying themselves. Vail waves at a man with very red hair. Then leads the way into the Interspace. "I will meet you in Arena B."

    "Don't be too fooled by his angered face. Vail cares about profits and good profits come from good service. Forcing him to interact. I will try to not thrash around to hard now." The snake looking bakugan flies away. The area in the interspace is programmed to look like marble. Some of the other arenas are inspired by other locations on Earth. A few places look otherworldly. Some of them are dark and damp looking. Even a bit cold in other. A couple despite being dark feel warm. Some more look full of life, and give off paradise vibes. Oh, they are labeled too. 'Gundalia A, B, C.' And Neathea 'A, B, C.' Strange places for sure. He said arena b. On the list there is a arena just called. Arena B. It looks like a standard arena. This place must cost a lot to maintain. It does.

[Itsuki Kita]

Vail leads Itsuki into the store and the place is magnificent. Snacks, plenty of Bakugan products, and people having fun everywhere. This place made Itsuki relax, he was in a place of somewhat like-minded people already. There were screens showing battles taking place, Itsuki almost got distracted and walked directly towards them and snapped himself out of it quickly. Vail waved at a red-haired man, Itsuki assumed he was the other employee. He seemed nice enough while looking busy at the same time.

Vail led Itsuki into a Bakugan Interspace, Itsuki looked on in amazement that such a cozy store could house such an arena. The virtual space was littered with all sorts of arenas to simulate all sorts of amazing battles. Vail told Itsuki to meet him in Arena B, which Itsuki hoped would be easy enough to find even in the large space.

"Don't be too fooled by his angered face. Vail cares about profits and good profits come from good service. Forcing him to interact. I will try to not thrash around too hard now." Cobalt said to Itsuki before following Vail. The dynamic of these two stood out to Itsuki, he found them quite interesting, having a brawl was only going to reveal more.

Itsuki looked at Altair who was still on Itsuki's shoulder. "You think we are up to something like this?" Altair floated to the front of Itsuki "This is a learning experience, remember that". "Right", Itsuki replied looking further at his surroundings. He sees a list of the different arena's displayed, he took a close look and saw one clearly labelled 'Arena B' "Well, that was easy." Itsuki said as he walked off into the direction of the arena. 

[Vail]

    When Itsuki arrives at the other side. Vail takes a moment to examine him. "Timid. No. . . Pushover. . . Easy going type from looks alone. Crobalt, make sure to not be rough."

    "Aye Captain. Already made that promise."

    "We will brawl until the first bakugan gives in. Gate Card Set!" Tossing his gate card. The arena glows orange for a moment. "Bakugan Brawl." No fancy throwing. Just a simple toss. "Rise Burning Crobalt." With a orange glow, rise a snake. Its brown scales patterned with red. Flowing molten metal that moves, and acts like flames. Just how that are shaped. Steam coming off in mass from the areas where the metal touches Crobalt. The can't feel pain part should make a little more sense now.

    "Alright! I can't wait to sink my fangs into the brawl! I just love going pow! And WHAM!" Crobalt shadow boxes with his tail being used for jabs. "If you don't want to brawl. Gawking at my beauty is fine too." He poses as if in a beauty pageant. Vail can only grown at that. "Smile more Vail." The bakugan tease.

[Itsuki Kita]

As Itsuki reached the arena, he sees Vail on the other side. By the look on his face he seemed to be studying Itsuki which he didn't mind, he was honoured if anything. Itsuki sees Vail's arm swing as a card is tossed out from his hand with the echoing words "Gate Card Set!" The card lands and the arena glows orange, setting the stage for the composition to be played.

Vail grabs Crobalt and throws him into the battlefield. The Bakugan opens and so does Itsuki's mouth when he sees the snake-like Bakugan rise from his previous ball state. It was amazing, Itsuki could tell almost immediately that this was an evolved Bakugan. The colours and flame-like metal on the snake had Itsuki mesmerized for a moment.

Crobalt looks to also be aware of how good he looked, posing for Itsuki and Altair.

Player 1 Vail's Bakugan Subterra Pyrus Burning Crobalt Enters at 8 0 0gs.

"800Gs?!" Itsuki thought to himself, realizing Altair was already at a disadvantage to Crobalt. Itsuki began picking at his fingernails with his thumb while he began overthinking every possible outcome. "You knew he was good coming into this, time to show him we are good too," Altair said in an attempt to knock some sense back into Itsuki.

"Your so right", Itsuki snatched Altair out of the air and pulled his arm back. His face had changed now, it was confident, and had lost all self-doubt. "Bakugan brawl!" Itsuki threw his hand forward and released Altair, no form could be found in the throw but, it was released with some power. "Take the stage Altair!"

The large mechanical dragon flew up from the ground parking itself in front of Crobalt. "Nice pose Crobalt," Altair teased Crobalt.

Player 2 Itsuki's Bakugan Ventus Altair Enters at 5 0 0gs.

[Vail]

    "Crobalt."

    "Of course Vail." Without activating a card. Crobalt jumps into the air, and attempts to slam his tail into Altair. "Going to say this ahead of time. But can't handle the heat. Stay of the kitchen!"

    "Ability Activate. Pyro Generator." Crobalt, and Altair gain a fiery red glow. Then the burning begins.

Crobalt Gain 1 5 0 gs. Raise amount on Player Two's turn by 1 5 0gs. Altair Loses 1 5 0 gs. Lower the amount lost by a further 1 5 0 gs.

    "This will be my only ability for this brawl. Hope you can handle the heat." Crobalt being energized now. Is both faster and stronger on his attacks. Holding back to prevent bruising

    "I got to say Altair. Most normal brawlers can't endure this heat forever. You aren't a normal brawler now right?!" He then digs into the ground, and burst out to attack. Rinse and repeat. "Burn baby burn!" He then jumps up higher than Altair's current position. Then aims to drive his fangs into Altair.

[Itsuki Kita]

Itsuki watches as Crobalt attempts to slam his tail in to Altair. Each slamming getting closer and closer to crushing Altair flat. Vail's voice yelled from the other side of the arena,  "Ability Activate. Pyro Generator." Crobalt and Altair being glowing red, seemingly cooking in a fire. Itsuki notices the draining of Altair's G power and the rising of Crobalt's. 

Vail yelled out to Itsuki, and he replied, "You seriously going to regret that." A look of certainty on his face. Although, hiding underneath was a look of fear. "How strong is this guy? Can even pull this off?" Itsuki thought to himself, attempting to remain calm. As it becomes Itsuki's turn, the changes in G-power happen again with both Bakugan burning in the same fire. 

Crobalt begins speaking to Altair in an almost mocking way, "Show them our power Itsuki, NOW!" 

Itsuki snaps back into reality holding up an ability card "Ability activate! Off Tempo!" As the words echo from Itsuki's mouth, a row of musical notes float in from the side of the arena. The notes move and coil around Crobalt until fully wrapping his body. Both Bakugan begin to glow as some of the fire is blown away, most still remaining. 

G Power swapped. Altair at 1100G, Crobalt 0G. 

Altair flew at Crobalt, mouth open attempting to bite on to the snake Bakugan. As Altair is flying through the air, the fire burns. 

Altair at 950G, Crobalt 150G. 

(Hoping I am correct in my understanding of the effect.)

[Vail]

    Just as the first transfer happens. A second one follows, with intense heat. Crobalt Gains 1 5 0 gs for a total of 3 0 0gs. Altair Loses Another 1 5 0 gs. The system reads off. "Its a good way to delay things Itsuki. I give you that. But its not enough. As time passes the burning gets worse. Which in turns adds another 150gs lose. Soon enough it will be 450 the next. All pyrus bakugan under this effect gain that power non-pyrus bakugan lose." That is the opposite of good news. That just put this brawl on a time limit.

G-Power Transfer of 4 5 0 gs. Crobalt Total Power Level Is 7 5 0 gs. Altair Total Power Level 3 5 0 gs.

    "What can I say Altair! I'm on fire!" He then proceeds to breath fire. Its not for long though. Crobalt soon goes back into the loop of tail attacks, and tunnel attacks. "And you miss. You miss again. Come on playing whack a mole now aren't ya? Got bad news. The mole fights back!" coming from directly below. Crobalt aims to tackle Altair out of the sky, and to trap him into a hole. "You are way to shiny? Evey play with mud!"
