[Atom]

Leo seemingly nodded to that, thinking a little bit. "We'll keep to Type 1 then as well, cards only. No need to use the Drome against you guys, especially in a digital environment that we can't damage in any substantial way." He gave a slight chuckle, but did file away everything Ren had said about what he was going to do. "Guessing you're talking about tapping into the same energy that corrupted you in the first place? If you get too out of control, just say so and we'll do what we can to help you keep control. If I may ask, though, can you do the same for Atom?" He glanced back to where Atom had gone, before moving in a bit closer to them. "Between you and me, if Atom loses control, he effectively turns into a Bakugan until he's knocked unconscious, without utilizing Reversion. I'm talking full sized Bakugan here. I know you saw his eyes, so I can only imagine you have an idea of what it could be after saying this." He sighs.

"Hey, Leo, think I found something we could use. Also, I think I might be half deaf from Grimm now... He, ah, he seemed pretty excited about the prospect of what was being offered by Vail, that's for sure." Leo chuckled a little before looking back to Ren and taking a deep breath.

"I hope what I said doesn't dissuade you too much. You both need this, I'm certain, so I expect you to bring your all into this brawl!"

[Vail]

"I will get the arena. Only bakugan and cards. Which means mind your tempers. Also. Restraint. Both of you." He makes sure to put emphasis on the word Restraint.

"I Burning Crobalt will mediate this match in my brawlers place. Do to my recently acquired form. Knowing a certain someone's temper from last time. I am more than ready to blast them out hot." Crobalt has been in this song and dance once before. He half caused it last time. Now he needs to make sure it doesn't go crazy again.

"Remember." Vail says as he setups up the arena for the brawlers. "This is a friendly brawl. No super powers under any circumstances. Commence."

[Atom]

Atom sighed a little. No super powers likely excluded both Form Change and Reversion, that certainly wouldn't make it easy for him, considering those were typically his ace in the hole against, well, anybody these days. He took a deep breath and focused, glancing at Crobalt. 'So, he's evolved recently, huh? Guess I shouldn't be surprised, but still, means me and Leo are falling behind. Still haven't been able to access any of his evolved forms...' He looked back to Ren. 'And this being a battle against Ren, I'm terrified of what could happen if he wins this. Worst case scenario is that he has an evolved Bakugan too, that'll make it rather difficult to be able to match him easily.' He glanced at Leo and steeled his resolve. "Understood. I agree to the terms given."

[Ren Nakamura]

Ren nodded as Vail said about restraint and no powers. Ren didn't plan to use his destruction powers anyway. He headed into the arena once it was ready and waited for Leo and Atom to get to their side. Dharak stayed at Ren's shoulder to come in if required. Ren took a deep breath and then spoke to Hydranoid. "Ready?" He asked Hydranoid, who simply chuckled with a smile. "Always" Hydranoid responded as Ren took out a card.

"Gate card, set!" Ren shouted as he threw the gate on the field. Then Ren closed his eyes and looked down. He stood there for a few seconds, his face serious. Before, his right hand shot up and across to his left shoulder where Hydranoid was, his hand open but the pinkie and index fingers partly closed. Hydranoid hopped into his hand as the two fingers fully closed, securing him in place.

"Bakugan Brawl!" Ren shouted out as his hand made a chop-like throw motion his head now looking up, eyes open. This was how he ALWAYS used to brawl in, a big memory for Atom, but maybe a shock for Vail. "Stand! Rise up with your Strength, Darkus Hydranoid!" Ren shouted as Hydranoid hit the gate and stood with a loud roar. "I've always wanted to try that! Let's do this Ren!" Hydranoid commented a happy normal smile on his face, he liked this throw-in better than the one Ren had been doing. The System then called out the g-power.

"Your turn, Atom, let's have a good brawl" Ren commented, ready for anything Atom may pull. "Be ready for anything Hydranoid" Ren told Hydranoid, who nodded. "A pillar right? Your opposite, I remember you saying your opposite had a Leo. I'll keep an eye out" Hydranoid responded, understanding that anything could happen this brawl.

[Atom]

Atom took a deep breath as he stepped to his side of the field, looking over at Ren's side of the arena while trying to figure out his own strategy for this. He focused intently before glancing at Leo. "You ready, Leo?"
"I am, Atom, but are you?"
"What's that supposed to mean?! Of course I'm ready!"
"Your temper has been riled up ever since we saw Ren, Atom. That little outburst was a prime example. Are you sure you're going to be ok?" Atom sighed a little.
"Leo, I'm certain that it'll be fine. Plus, worst comes to worst, I know I have you to help me if I lose it." He nodded to his partner before looking back to the field as Ren threw his gate card out. This was going to be difficult, he knew that already. He watched Ren's motions carefully as he threw out Hydranoid, focusing on what he did and taking note of where Hydranoid landed. That chopping throw was that guy's staple move, after all. He took a deep breath before carefully grabbing Leo. He pulled back, hand down by his side, before his eyes went draconic for a brief moment as he suddenly flung his hand forward from that position, creating a lot of rotational momentum that was controlled into a forward direction, launching Leo outwards towards the card and landing him quickly, allowing him to transform right in front of Hydranoid before flying up into the air. "We'll see what happens, Ren. I'm ready for anything you might throw at me!"

Haos Leonidas as 5 0 0 Gs.

[Ren Nakamura]

"Let's see what you can do. Ren!" Hydranoid stated as Ren pulled out a card. "Got it Hydranoid, coming right up. Ability Activate! Hydra Annihilation!" Ren called out as the card glowed. a swirl of purple and black energy surrounded Hydranoid as he charged forward with the speed of a fast train. Normally this was used on ground opponents but Hydranoid had other plans. He launched himself into the air at Leo, aiming to hit him and knock him back down. "Try this on for size!" Hydranoid shouted as he attacked Leo.

Haos Leonidas transfer 3 0 0 gs to Hydranoid. Haos Leonidas decreased by a further 3 0 0 gs. Haos Leonidas 0 gs Darkus Hydranoid 8 0 0 gs

"Watch your surroundings Hydranoid!" Ren called out, very aware of what a flying Bakguan can do if not careful. Ren also knew that with the way Atom was right now, they needed to be very careful.

[Atom]

Leo chuckled a little bit at Hydranoid's attack, watching him getting closer. "Heh, not bad! But you can't maneuver in the air!" Leo did a midair flip, barely avoiding Hydranoid while Atom got something ready.

"Ability Activate! Negation Drain!" The swirl of purple and black energy that had surrounded Hydranoid got absorbed right into Leo, empowering him quickly.

Darkus Hydranoid Transfer 3 0 0 Gs, Hydra Annihilation Negated, Haos Leonidas Gains 5 0 0 Gs. Haos Leonidas at 8 0 0 Gs, Darkus Hydranoid at 2 0 0 Gs.

Leo then quickly performed a kick right on Hydranoid's back, sending him shooting right back at the ground! Atom smirked a little bit. "Going for a brazen attack up in the air wasn't exactly your best move there, if you ask me. Gotta have some way to control yourself up in the air if you're wanting to go for that." He brought up another card. "Ability Activate! Element Swap!" Leo chuckled a little before phantoms of his other Attribute Forms appeared around him.

"Time for a quick change for you!" The Pyrus phantom suddenly flew right at Hydranoid, striking him and changing his colors around. In moments, he was no longer Darkus.

Darkus Hydranoid Changed To Pyrus Hydranoid.

"I doubt you have anything for Pyrus stashed away, Ren. After all, you're usually on the opposite end of the Attribute Wheel." Atom stared down his opponent a little.

[Ren Nakamura]

Hydranoid couldn't help but chuckle, this Atom and Leo were good. Ren was right about them, but Hydranoid wasn't out of this yet. "Ren, use it!" Hydranoid called, putting his arms up into a block. "Alright, Double Ability Activate! Destructive Burst and Auxiliary Torment!" Ren called out as he held up two cards. A large purple and green shield surrounds hydranoid protecting him before a large purple rune circle surrounds Leonidas.

Negation Drain negated, Leonidas, decreases by 1 5 0 gs a turn

Then Hydranoid lets off a loud roar as the ceiling of the arena turned dark like night, before descending down came two Leonidas. But these Leo were different, they seemed, broken, their bodies, beginning to rot, cuts, bruises, their eyes void of colour, an emotionless expression. "I hope they don't rub your scales, that's just the way they come out," Hydranoid stated as the Leo clones flew towards the original attacking them.

Haos Leonidas cloned at 0 gs. Ren's total 8 0 0 gs, Atom's total 0 gs

"When Dharak and Hydranoid was told about me being a pillar of destruction, they wanted a destruction like theme to thier starting abilities. I can't blame them, the abilities do thier job and can look cool. If your gonna use the same stuff, might as well make it something the Bakugan will enjoy" Ren commented, he felt having cards your Bakugan loved was important. He just hoped he would have enough cards to handle this battle to the end. 

[Atom]

Atom flinched a little at seeing the cloned, decaying Leos going after the original one. He gasped upon fully realizing what they were, before growling slightly. Flashes back to times he had lost Leo for some reason or another, fearing that he was dead. He clenched his fists a little, eyes shifting over to their draconic forms again. "Atom! Focus!" Leo attempted to dodge the two clones, but due to his sudden power loss he wasn't able to very easily. Atom gasped again as he refocused on the situation, eyes going back to normal before quickly grabbing another card!

"Can't lose focus! I hope Vail didn't mean this when he meant no super powers..." A quick breath before putting his hand up. "Form Change! Ventus! Ability Activate! Rising Storm!" Leo flashed brightly for a few moments, his appearance changing quickly into that of a Ventus Bakugan. Then, clouds began to form above the arena, rain starting to come down as a small flash of lightning struck out.

Haos Leonidas Gains Advantage. 3 Storm Counts added to the field.

Leo broke free of his clones quickly after that, managing to grab both of them, crash them together, then throw them at Hydranoid! "That was close. You ok Atom?"
"Y-Yeah, just a momentary lapse. I'm good to go!"

[Ren Nakamura]

Ren got slightly worried when he saw the eyes change but was glad when Atom kept it together. Then Atom used Form Change, where Ren couldn't help but smile and chuckle a little. "I see, you good Hydranoid?" Ren called out as Hydranoid caught the Clones. "I'm fine, don't hold back on him Ren, you don't need to be scared them all anymore, me and Dharak are here" Hydranoid responded, Ren, letting off a sigh and nodding.

"Alright, I trust you, Ability Activate! Dues-ex Machina!" Ren called out as he held the card up, as a wave of destructive energy appears from the clouds above and hit everyone at first, as Hydranoid's power grew and Leo's weakened more. Then the wave recollected and smacked into Leo.

Hydranoid gain 1 5 0 gs a turn, total 950 g s, Leonidas decrease by 300 g s. Rising Storm negated.

"Gate Card Open! Rhyolite Arena!" Ren then called out as the gate opened, a rhyolite rocky arena being created on the field, strong wings buttering Leo, as the clone Leos go for him again, and now Hydrnaoid using the rocks to jump between them to shoot blasts from his mouth from different directions.

Hydranoid increased by 400 g s, Leonidas increased by 2 0 0 gs each. Ren Total 1 7 50 gs Atom Total 2 0 0 gs

[Atom]

Atom took a few deep breaths. This wasn't good, Leo was definitely right about his temper flaring up a bit. He just had to focus and keep under control. He took another deep breath and refocused on the brawl. He watched as Ren activated another ability, then glanced at the battle state to come up with a plan of action regarding the changes given. Leo was brought down to 0 Gs and blasted back by that wave of destructive energy, crashing down right next to Atom. He took a step back to avoid the dust cloud and debris that were sent out from that impact. "Leo, are you ok?"
"I'll, I'll be fine, Atom. Taken worse impacts before." He began forcing himself up, looking at the clones and Hydranoid and taking a deep breath. "Are you going to be ok?"
"We just need to finish this up quickly, win or lose." He pulled out another card and looked at Leo. "Let's do this!" He held the card up. "Ability Activate! Battle Reverse!" Leo glowed quickly, along with the Gate Card and Ren's collection of Bakugan.

Rhyolite Arena Exchanged for New Gate Card. Hydranoid Decreased by 4 0 0 Gs, Leonidas Decreased by 2 0 0 Gs Each. Ren Down to 950 Gs, Atom down to 0 Gs. G Power Swap, Atom up to 950 Gs, Ren Down to 0 Gs.

"And now, Gate Card Open! Blow Down!" The Gate Card flashed quickly and Leo sprung back up into the air. He then used his wings to create a massive downdraft right at Hyndranoid and the clone Leonidases, forcing them down onto the ground.

Ren G-Power Decrease 100 Gs Per Turn. Deus Ex Machina Effect Reduced to Gaining 50 Gs per turn. Ren at 50 Gs, Atom at 950 Gs.

[Ren Nakamura]

"Mmmf" Hydranoid let off as he hit the ground. "I see why Ren thinks highly of you pillars, you are defiantly strong. But I don't think this is over for me just yet. Ren, let's try that card!" Hydranoid commented as Ren brought out a new card with a nod. "Alright Hydranoid, be ready. Ability Activate! Serpent's Curse!" Ren called out as the card glowed. Hydranoid's eyes then began to glow as a curse began to take hold of every single Bakugan on the field. Atom's Leonidas would feel the curse the worst.

Ren Nakamura gains Advantage. G-Power Swaps prevented. Ren 5 0 gs Atom 9 5 0 gs.

"Let's how you handle this one!" Hydranoid then commented as Ren got ready to bring out another card if needed. It had been a long while since he saw Atom and Leo fight and had no idea how much more they had up their sleeve. "Easy Hydranoid, don't let the adrenaline get to you" Ren stated, knowing how Hydranoid could be sometimes. "Right right, sorry"

[Atom]

Leo yelped out a little bit as he felt that curse hit him hard, sending him flying back a good bit, but he did manage to regain his balance soon after. Atom sighed a little bit and focused, this wasn't good. His Ventus arsenal was quite weak compared to his Haos arsenal, giving him very few options for what to do here. He looked up at Leo, who panted a little bit, then over at Ren. He took a deep breath. "Wasn't planning on you having advantage up your sleeve, Ren. Gotta say, you surprised me with that considering how much you tend to enjoy going high power, or at least used to. I've got nothing to counter with." Leo sighed.
"I think going Ventus was the wrong choice, Atom. We should probably reconsider that for the future." He shook his head a little bit as Atom nodded.
"Yeah, that's a good point." He looked back to Ren. "Congrats on your end." Leo floated back to the ground, then fell a little solidly onto it, crashing slightly forward.
"Whatever that thing is, it's making it hard to focus..." Leo shook his head a little more.

[Ren Nakamura]

"Ren?" Hydranoid commented, wondering if this should end like most other brawls he has had to do in this area. Ren though put his card again and shook his head. "No. This isn't like most brawls we do here. Atom isn't some idiot that doesn't understand the word leave. This is not a battle that requires an ending like most. The battle is over." Ren responded, Hydranoid nodding in understanding. Way back when Ren would have jumped at the opportunity to finish Atom and Leo off but he wasn't like that anymore. Hydranoid came over and helped Leo out. "Easy there, the curse can be draining if you are not used to it. Return to ball form, it should wear off in 10 minutes" Hydranoid advised, as Ren walked over to Atom, this brawl was over, there was no need to attack further.


"Your right there Atom. Way back then I was focused on power and strength, doing whatever I had to, to keep that and keep my enemies below my feet. You are not my enemy anymore, I have done horrible things and I know most I can NEVER make up for. I am hated by many and they all have a right to do so. I won't blame them if some even try to kill me. I don't seek power any more, I just wish to balance things out" Ren started to explain before signing.

"But I am destruction, I know in the end I will have to destroy to avoid this reality that we both love from falling apart like it has a few times already. But I hope now, seeing me in action, we can work together like we should have from the start, like all four of us should do. And only hope one day, Diablo will be allowed to brawl with me again. But for now, Hydranoid and Dharak are just fine." Ren continued, as Hydranoid would continue to help Leo.

[Vail]

    "I would like to remind both of you on what was on the line here." Vail walks in looking back to his annoyed self. "Sorry Ren, but I rooting against you. As per the deal Atom. You are still banned, and SHIELD does not get the sponsor contract. It was an honest attempt though. So I can't fault you." Right, those are terms of the battle. "One day though. You will be unbanned if you continue proving good behavior."

    "We didn't know Leonidas can Attribute Change though. Nice trick. Sad you only used it once." Crobalt comments. "You can take a free thing of popcorn on your way out though." Grimm ain't gonna be happy about this lost opportunity though.

  

    "Well then Atom. I must ask you to leave." He sounds indifferent about that in the end. "Ren. Congrats. You earned yourself a raise in just two months. No bonus though." And with that. Vail heads off to close the shop for the day. Its one of those close early days. Inventory check, and more shop inspection to make sure nothing breaks.

    "Good job Hydranoid. Can't wait to battle you one day. Later bye!" He heads off to pester Vail.
