A Day. A Life. Its just, another average day.

[Vail]

    Its tuesday, and been a month since that freak encounter. Vail doesn't even want to think about it. Yet today he just feels exhausted, tired. . . Redundant. Why redundant? Its it because these days are all the same. What would he even do if he had to leave it behind. . . What is he thinking. Leave it behind, don't make him laugh. His parents wanted this shop. He wanted to run it. This is his family's shop, and this shop is his pride. He now has an employee too. He thinks he should be happy. swat He hits Crobalt away again. Just concentrating as usual. Just waiting for the ordinary to be shattered somehow. Rich brat is just a daily thing. Kicking out snobs and runts is normal. Keeping a watchful eye on his customers has just been normal. Man, he starts to think.

    "Maybe I should just unban that Atom bloke. . . "
    "Vail. You have officially lost it?"
    "I hate to say it, but I agree."
    "Not a first, but excuse me?"
    "I mean why not. Lets call it a test. To see if he can restrain himself."

    "I. . . Like this idea."

    

    Vail gets a slim thought. Maybe thing wont explode like last time. . . Then thinks: 'I'm about to regret this decision am I?'

[Ren Nakamura]

Luckily for Vail Ren was currently on a shift and was sitting nearby, hearing them talk about letting Atom back in. He looked around when hearing about unbanning Atom. "Wait, Atom got banned? What for? He is the one I least expected to get banned from a shop" Ren asked, as Dharak popped out from ren's pocket. "OOoo maybe I could brawl him!" He cried out, not excited. "No Dharak, his Leonadis last time I checked can evolve" Ren commented, making Dharak stop jumping. "Ooo..maybe not then" Was Dharak's only response, as there was a small chuckle heard from Ren pocket. Hydranoid then jumped out and sat on the other shoulder. "This is why you don't jump right into things without thinking it through Dharak"

[Vail]

    "Atom is one of few who broke my inter-space port. Has forced me to get the arena recode, and needed to be force out. He wasn't alone, but contributed." He sighs. "It makes think about what damage I could unleashing if I unban him. Out of Irony it the the guy who claims destruction who has avoided breaking anything. . . . Speaking of SHIELD. The repair bill's final check should be arriving today. Expect your first bonus Ren."

    "Yeah Ren. A big fat juicy bonus. Its for the wonderful job you did while working here. Though you need to smile more and sound less official. We don't need another Vail GAH!" He gets the box treatment.

    "Oh yeah. Dharak. I'm getting some ventus cards for myself. In case you ever swap out one of my bakguan again. I would like some more generic suggestion if ever get the change." He's genuine in his ask. Its a little ask. He's just predicting if Dharak ever decides to have Vail brawl him again. Like last time. Otherwise so far. Today is just another average day so far. No yelling outside of rich brat and idiots being kicked out by force. Other times it an exciting brawl. Vail is glad Ren is helping out with that too. He's occasionally seen that one time traveler. . . Or reality mover. . . .What ever Ren called it. Still, he's not a person from his world, or time. So him being trapped here actually has Ren feeling sorry for someone. For once. Nobody could get him to say it physically though. "Hey Ren. Any ideas if that Atom does end up showing up?"

[Ren Nakamura]

"Huh, maybe I and Atom need to switch Pillars" Ren then chuckles, shaking his head. "Nah, as much as it did corrupt me before, I'd rather me have destruction. I know the risks, and the dangers, and I'll get the balance in using it, eventually" Ren then commented before Dharak jumped over to Vail, stars around his ball form. "Ventus Cards?!" Dharak called out, now VERY EXCITED. "Sandstorms! Sandstorms! Sandstorms! Sandstorms!" Dharak then called out, he is way too hyper for a normal Dharak. "If I hadn't seen you proper fight, I would say your nothing like a Dharak" Hydranoid commented, making Ren chuckle again. "Very true Hydrnaoid, but I wouldn't change him for the world. And when I get Diablo back, you three will be a force to be remembered." Ren commented, making Hydranoid comment again. "As long as I am the backup ace"

Then it came to ideas for if Atom did show up. "Hm...well he is normally up for a duel, could maybe have you duel him with Dharak, or I duel him, as his pillar opposite, I 'should' be able to handle him" Ren thought aloud, he was really sure though, he never really got to know Atom. "Mind you, last I saw him, I was still evil, and before that I mind controlled his partner Bakugan so"

[Atom]

Atom huffed a little bit as he walked down the street, holding an envelope. Why, in god's name, did they choose him to send to this particular shop to deliver this? Why the heck was it even being hand delivered in the first place?! Something about it being 'important to make sure it's in person' and other stuff like that. He shook his head before turning the corner onto the street that had the shop he was dreading going to. 'You're the one who has to go because you helped cause the problem'. Leo glanced at him. "You ok, Atom? You're seeming a bit frustrated."

"Don't, Leo. Just, don't, ok?" He shook his head a little bit before scratching at his arm a little, a few scales popping out from under his skin. He took a deep breath, trying to calm down, making them go away. "Just in and out, yeah? Go in, drop off the envelope, get out before anybody can react." He took another breath as he stepped in front of the shop, looked down at the envelope, then sighed as he opened the door and stepped in, quickly trying to get to the front counter, find Vail, give it to him, and then hurry out.

[Vail]

    He's at the front desk. Speak of the devil and he will appear. "Hello there. I see you have the last of the money for the repair bill. Thank you for that. Before you go Atom. I wan to extend an opportunity. I was considering unbanning you from my shop." Crobalt and Vail's other bakugan are going a little crazy.

    "He's doing it!"

    "What have you done to vail!"
    "Goor goor goor!"

    "Zaa zaa!"

    "Settle down guys. I know the implications. I wont do it for free either. I want to test him. Good thing he has a good test partner. Right Ren." His merchant instincts trigger. "I make decent money here to run this little. If you beat Ren in a brawl. Not only will you get unbanned. But SHIELD can get a sponsor contract." For Atom's information. If Blaze and Grimm hear about that sponsor deal. The two would jump on it like flies to honey. The barely make enough money to run the buildings despite their crazy projects that Grimm manages to finance thanks to his multi-dimensional backers.

[Ren Nakamura]

Ren smiled and waved at Atom and chuckled when Vail mentioned an opportunity. "Atom brawls me ay? Interesting, a chance for my new Bakugan to brawl another Pillar. Good experience for them." Ren commented as Hydranoid stretched a little. "Sounds fun to me, I'm up for it" Hydranoid commented, while by Vail there was now a bouncing green blur followed by some shouting. "BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE!"

Ren chuckled and shook his head. "Dharak" Dharak didn't hear him, "Dharak!" Still did not hear him. This hyper Dharak was still going. "BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE!" Would possibly remind Atom of Grimm's Gore.

[Atom]

"I appreciate the sentiment, Vail, but I must decline." He just dropped off the envelope and shook his head. "My ban was due to damage I helped cause, I understand and accept that. Today was an exception, because for some reason that eludes me I was chosen to hand deliver a check here. Honestly, who hand delivers things these days?" He huffed and shook his head again. "I'm not risking doing that damage again." He shrugged a little before hearing the rest of it. "Wait, hold on, did you say" He looked right at the guy in question when he spoke up, giving a glare soon after. His eyes abruptly changed into draconic ones. "Of course I'd end up running into you here, huh?" Leo sighed a little and looked at Ren.

"Apologies for him. He's been a bit busy and hasn't heard about what's happened. Only reason I have is because I've been doing a bit of battle testing due to, ahem, unique circumstances. No, I will not elaborate on that." He sighed slightly. "Also, uh, he's gotten something new recently that makes things a bit, difficult for him from time to time."

"Leo, stop talking please." Atom growled a little, taking a deep breath to try and calm down. "I'm still leaning towards no, for the record. For one, it'd be dangerous and I don't want to damage the shop again. For another, I literally just came to drop off the money for repairs." Another breath, eyes going back to normal. "On the other hand, sponsor deal would mean a lot to Grimm and Blaze. What, pray tell, would this particular sponsor deal entail?"

[Vail]

    "It would hold some financial backing for events SHIELD host on occasion, on top providing discounts for the employees at the shop and weekly card shipments, and posting for bakugan to be recruited for brawlers. In exchange though, You have a posted guard on sit here, enforce behavior policies for the shop, and provide tech upgrades and maintenance for the inter-space port." That's a good deal. Vail being familiar with bakugan is especially useful. It would mean more bakugan recruits and maybe even more bakugan to a brawler. With cards to boot weekly. Though what he gains of course would make it easier for him to afford this. Its especially a net profit. Him being a sponsor means spread word of his shop. On top of the money he would make despite the discounts for SHIELD Personnel. Lastly the inter-space upgrades. Those can get incredibly costly, and for Grimm a good excuse to use some older version of tech he couldn't just scrap. Vail's sense of business is honed.

    "OOOOOOOH! With a better inter-space port, we can set up A.I. brawlers. Giving use more time to relax too!" Damn. That is a good bonus. They wouldn't need to brawl everyone and newbies can get a training A.I. to practice on. It would mean more rooms too. Which means more space for more business.

[Ren Nakamura]

Ren watched Atom carefully, something told Ren that something was wrong. He had never seen Atom like this but he knew he couldn't let Atom stay like this. Ren sighed, stepping closer to Atom and placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Look, I get it, last time you saw me, I wasn't a very nice guy and before that, I mind controlled your Bakugan. I am sorry for that, and if I could take it back I would, but I don't have your gift for travelling. My powers are gone, the only dangerous part of me now is the fact I am destruction, but I am not the same guy I was. I have Vail, Hydranoid and my silly hyper Dharak to thank for that." Ren began before sighing, "I can tell you are struggling with yourself right now. Let me help, we are opposite pillars, after all, it is kinda our job to balance each other out. If not well, we can leave the store right now and you can beat the life out of me and I won't do anything."

"Ren!-" Hydranoid called out, before Ren put his hand up to stop him. "It's okay Hydranoid, I did horrible things and I know not everyone will forgive me and if my opposite pillar hates me for the rest of my life, so be it. I won't let it stop me from being who I want to be, even if the whole world hates me" Ren responded, a part of him was scared, I mean, who wouldn't in his position, but he was going to face this anyway, and do what he could, even if it meant putting himself in danger. 

Meanwhile, on the counter, Dharak had jumped too much and had got dizzy and fell off, landing in a box. 

"Owww...Hellllp! I can't see!" Dharak called out, unable to see anything from inside the box.

[Atom]

Atom huffed, considering everything that was said. It was a lot to think about, that's for sure. Ren sounding sorry for what he did? That was something hard to believe, that's for sure. He glanced at Leo, his anger rising again as he thought about what Ren had done in the past. But with what Leo had said about him, and with what he had said himself. "As much as I may hate you, Ren, I'm no killer. Hard for me to raise my weapon against anybody to begin with, much less someone who sounds sorry for what they did..." He grit his teeth a little. "But know this, forgiveness won't come easily. I lost Leo once before you took control of him, and I was able to forgive him, but he also had the advantage of being my friend and helping me to get him back." He brushed the guy's hand off his shoulder, shaking his head. "I am, however, willing to give you a second chance, since Leo stood up for you. Don't waste it."

He then looked back to Vail, nodding to him a little. "I'll accept the challenge, but I'll need about 10 minutes to inform Blaze about it. Is that agreeable?" If it wasn't, well, might need a bit of negotiating to do the battle. "It sounds like quite the deal for both sides, doesn't sound like you're trying to get the better end of the deal without giving something equally impressive in turn. I'll also take a bit of that time to calm down. When Leo said there was something new about me, it's something dangerous. If I lose myself to my emotions, it could end up turning this entire district to rubble." Leo sighed a little.

"To change the subject to something a lot less dark, who do you plan on using for the brawl, Ren? Going to need a good partner against the two of us, after all."

[Vail]

     "Go right ahead. Also. If you are having metal issues. Get a therapist." He said that so bluntly. Angry or not he's just right. "Also implying violence ever again can remove this opportunity permanently. So learn some proper self restraint soon. If you like it or not."

    "Hurry hurry. This is going to be a fun brawl to watching." Crobalt is excited and already setting up bets. Leave it to crobalt to set up bets. Much to Vail's annoyance. He can't stop this. He really wishes he could.

    "The clock is ticking though. I will allow one purchase before you decide." He takes his place behind the counter. "And if you pay extra. I have a special service for people like you. Ren is already under said service. . . He looks truly happy so I can extend the same for you."

[Ren Nakamura]

Ren sighed hearing everything Atom had to say, he didn't blame Atom at all. Ren would probably hate himself too if he hadn't learned to move on. He then looked around the room. "Where did Dharak go?" Ren asked, a little concerned. "Box, again" Hydranoid commented, Ren now going behind the counter and seeing a small green ball in a box. "Oh Dharak, you finished?" Ren commented, now chuckling as he picks the guy back up. "Air! Freedom! Thank you thank you thank you! I'm done" Dharak responded, hugging ren's neck.

Ren now had the choice, of what Bakugan would he use against Atom. Ren wasn't too sure, to him, both Bakugan were around the same in skill and both could possibly do well. He struggled to pick before some words brought him out of it. "Use Hydranoid" Dharak stated, serious in tone. "What? Why?" Ren asked, Dharak never gave up the chance to battle someone. "My personality isn't likely the best, from what I could hear from in the box. You need someone that can be serious calm and collected, that is Hydrnaoid to a T" Dharak responded, making Ren smile.

"Your learning Dharak, you should be proud," Ren commented, looking back to Atom. "I'm gonna ue Hydranoid. I won't bring in Dharak too unless you allow it." "You better not hold back Hydranoid" Dharak commented to Hydrnaoid. "As if, I don't plan to let Ren down. This is our chance to show what he can do without his powers and without Diablo. A chance to show, how Ren has changed"

[Atom]

Atom sighed. "I wish it was just mental issues. Therapy doesn't quite cut it, though it has helped with keeping it more under control in some situations." He shook his head a little bit before listening to Ren, nodding some. Hydranoid, he knew what he was getting into with an original Bakugan, one that he had the pleasure to fight alongside and against several times. Of course, he knew that this one was different, but it gave him a slight edge in that regard. "If the service is hypno-therapy with your ability, Vail, I'm afraid that won't help at all. Thanks for the offer, though." He had probably seen Vail use it a few times when he was last there, or at least made some assumptions. Regardless, he took a few steps back to pull out his phone to call Blaze and inform her of the situation, while also glancing around to see if anything caught his eye for the one purchase Vail said he'd allow. Leo looked Hydranoid over some, thinking.

"So, if I may ask, is Hydranoid a Type 1 or a Type 2 Bakugan? That is going to heavily influence how me and Atom brawl against you." He nodded a little.

[Ren Nakamura]

Ren having decided what Bakugan will Brawl decided that he was going to try something he hadn't done since he lost to everyone at shield. "Hydranoid" Ren started, Hydranoid looking round to him. "Yeah Ren?" Hydranoid responded, wondering what his Brawler was thinking. "I'm going to try it," Ren told him, Hydranoid smiling at him. "Really? Are you sure? You don't have to if you're not ready" Hydranoid responded, not wanting his Brawler to feel forced.

"I'm Sure. I have had good help to get this far but I have been scared long enough. It's time I get into gear. While I was corrupted back then, it is still a part of who I am and it's time I brought out the courage to truly be myself. I won't corrupt again, we'll make sure of it, together" Ren explained, the two smiling and Dharak even smiling too. "Then let's give them a show" Hydranoid commented before hearing Leo's question and looking at him.


"Type one or type two? Oh, right some Bakugan uses that dome thing now. I'm type one, I use cards, same for Dharak." Hydranoid responded before Ren rubbed the back of his head. "I did try using Type two Bakugan, but they just weren't my style. I prefer cards, more my style" Ren added on, before letting off a sigh to calm himself. "Right, I'm ready whenever you are. Let's make this a good brawl"
