Ashleigh's 1st Battle

Ashleigh had taken a moment to look around herself as she had decided to finally practice one of her hobbies, not that hobby was a very strong term she hardly battled anyone unless it was some sort of life or death situation, which of course was rather rare as an occurrence. She sighed, brushing her hand through her hair as she grumbled to herself. 

"Well we're here, might as well make the most of it."

She rolled around one of her Bakugan in her hand, she only ever had a pair on her being, but they'd basically had been glorified rocks, along with this she had taken out a couple of cards she owned, she then fumbled a bit before trying to activate it. 

"I think this is how you do it... Gate Card Set. Then... Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Pyrus Phoenix (380 G's)

[Vail]

"Being a little scared doesn't encourage your bakugan. Slow down, and breath deeply. Bakugan brawl! Bakugan Stand! Bakugan stand! Rise Subterra Crobalt!" The bakugan shows its real form. A snake with clearly metal bits. (@500gs)

"Hello Pheonix! I'm Crobalt and we will be fair. We will match your card total with ours since you have less than us."

"Your Turn."

"Finally free from my slumber!" The bird like creature shot into the air a bit excited to finally be free from the captivity of the ball, before noticing the opponent, Phoenix nodded before adding a little chuckle. "An Honorable opponent, a rare thing to see in my time."

Ashleigh sighed a bit, as she looked over the battlefield, it seemed she was already at a deficit without even doing anything to close that gap she would simply have to activate one of her cards... she provided a quick boost.

"Ability Activate. Surging Flames."

Phoenix spread it's wings the energy inside of it sparking as fiery embers engulfed it's frame. With a simple power boost the excess flames rained down on Crobalt.

"Abiliy Activate: Snake Army Come on out Haos Zappira!" Much shorter than Crobalt but no less intimidating is this green lizard with lightning being emitted. (Zappira 500gs)

"Welcome to the field Zap. Lets give them a good shock!"

Crobalt/Zap: 1000gs (500 each)

Pheonix: 680gs

(Since this is your first brawl too. Card Count is not a factor for now. But your next brawl it will need to be. Especially when you get more cards.)

Ashleigh had sighed looking over what she had in store for her next move, honestly doubling up seemed a bit rough for her, instead she decided to use that to her advantage she hoped. She lifted her gaze to the battlefield.

"Gate Card Open. Volcanic Eruption."

The ground crackled and shook as the magma spewed out of the core of the battlefield, the heat of the molten magma creating an idea environment for the Phoenix as it screeched feeling it's energy soar.

Power Increase 180 G's, Power Decrease 100 G's (both)

Phoenix: 860

Crobalt/Zap: 800 (400 each)

"Good job newbie, but its not enough." (Side note: you can play more than one card in a post.) "Ability Activate: Snake Drop I return Zappira back from the field, and then swap Crobalt's and Pheonix's g-power." The haos bakugan returns to Vail. Then Crobalt glows red as Pheonix's energy is given to him.

"Hope you like trash talk because tonight I'm having chicken!"

Ashleigh found the maneuver rather... interesting, but it was her at a deficit, she considered playing a card but her hand seemed to hover as if she weren't too sure this hesitation was something that was rather common to the pair. Phoenix was especially attuned to this deciding to give a slight nod.

"Do what you think is best." 

While it didn't seem like much of an consolation she figured she would do it anyway. Raising her gaze back to the snake she declared her move.

"Ability Activate. Inferno Blast!" 

The power that was invigorating Crobalt seemed to vanish flowing back into Phoenix as the effect of Snake Drop had been cancelled, seeing as the field shifted back into her favor she would give a bit of juice to her Bakugan.

"Then... Ability Activate, Blaze On!"

Absorbing the power of the heat festering around it Phoenix screeched putting on even more heat pressure for the pair of Bakugan below.

"Victory or not this has been a glorious show!"

G Power Increase 300, Snake Drop nullified.

Crobalt/Zap 800 (400 each)

"You are stronger with skill over your actually power. I will commend you for that."

"Vail. She only has four cards, and she played three of them."

"And a gate card. So here is my third card. Ability Activate: Hypnotic Pulse." A glowing pattern forms on Crobalt. He sways his body gently from left to right. He would soon glow with the pyrus bakugan's energy once again. Zappira returning back to Vail, and that last bit of power gained from Blaze On is now gone too. If Ashleigh looks at Inferno Blast. It would look negated.

Phoenix: 400gs

"Sorry bird brain, but you can't beat mean that easily. I'm as strong as cobalt."

Ashleigh watched her Bakugan's momentum slow to a crawl she nodded her last card wasn't actually a card she could use in a pinch, it was an odd ability from her Bakugan. She looked up and Phoenix still trying to soar high.

"Well it seems like this show is over then... Ability Activate, Phoenix Down ."

Phoenix seemed to erupt into a larger flame, a giant torrent of fire releasing upon the battlefield

"Hah... I see my time is up then"

The flash of energy then fizzled her Bakugan glowing before returning back to her side, she had seemingly lost by activating the ability itself, she shrugged when it came down to it, the numbers were against her.

"Ah, well that's how it happens then"

She kneeled gripping Phoenix again as she ran her hand through her hair.

[Vail]

"Vail. . . ." He glows and returns to the Vail. "She pulled a fast one on me."

"Well that's interesting. Without a bakugan on your side anymore. I have to recall Crobalt. I need a bakugan on the field to deal damage to your life points. So we restart with the next round." He raise his bakugan. "Gate Card Set! Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Rise Subterra Crobalt!" (@500)

"I slither into action. Also I may be a snake, but that's quite a viper move of you. Holding a little back ain't a option now."

Ashleigh pursed her lips seeing from the last time she wasn't really sure how she was supposed to get an edge over the pair. She rolled Phoenix upon her palm before chucking her Bakugan with a softer toss letting it roll onto the battlefield.

"Bakugan Brawl, Bakugan Stand, Pyrus Phoenix!" 

Once again tearing onto the scene Phoenix stood invigorated. 

"It's been a while since I've gotten to challenge someone, I feel I'm a little behind par" 

Phoenix: 380

Crobalt: 500

"Don't worry. You will get some power here soon. Gate card open: Crobalt Gate" Crobalt yells out as his power surges and the baku-meter informs Ash.

Subterra Crobalt G-Power increase by 7 0 0Gs. 700 hundred! That's huge why did it. The gate card that's why. Its in his name and its a gold gate card.

"Don't worry you rubber chicken. You get a boost too." The boost is clearly not as strong as Crobalt's though.

Crobalt: 1200gs.

Pheonix: 830gs.

"Negating this gate card though removes this bonus though. So be cautious if you swap it out."

Ashleigh looked at the battlefield and then gathered her thoughts, she seemed to have a very long face upon her as she went into how she should play against such a blatantly massive advantage... of course the opponent could be expecting a negation card but... she found it a bit tricky to say. Still after taking a couple of seconds she had finished the math in her head... it would take her more cards to even remotely stay in the game, and with knowledge of what he could play now having such a massive advantage was almost an auto win. She chuckled a bit, although it seemed a bit brainless she can admit the relentless offense was a bit much to counteract.

"Don't think you can blind me with false platitudes, Double Ability Activate, Blaze On! plus Surging Flames!"

The power of the gate card was massive... too massive, she figured she might as well add on her full power at the start and see where that left her in comparison to the opponent. The strength of Phoenix's heat shone brightly shooting off stray magma shots as it flew.

"I see you are more tricky than I thought." 

It seemed like a compliment, but the bird creature still swooped for attack.

"Double Ability Activate! Snake Army Stand Haos Zappira! Fusion Ability Activate! Reinforcing Army! Come out Subterra Dongora!" A large dragon like thing stands out on the field. Looks derpy despite being intimidating. The real problem is now the Phoenix on Vail's side of the field. It also has Phoenix's current power too.

"Well now. Like my entourage? They got a bone to pick with you."

Crobalt/Zap/Don/Phoenix: 3630gs. (Listed like the bakugan names. Subterra, Haos, Subterra, Pyrus)

Ashleigh herself shrugged, obviously it just made sense to do whatever you wanted after your opponent used up their power bonuses. She had cards of course the opponent knew that but she simply didn't play anything looking towards Phoenix with a small bit of contempt.

"Well, at least hurry it up will ya? I didn't ask for the lightshow."

That said she would still lose, pretty much instantly, but she let the battle continue as it was even if she was being a tad rude about it.

No change.
