Its a slow day again.

[Vail]

Vail sits at the far wall of his shop today. Not a worry found on his face. A very rare day indeed for he smiles. The man has found peace. No one has come into the shop today. Nobody strange that is at least. Magic is not in affect. His luck has been great in not seeing any rich brats. No members of shield creating problems. Then that last freak not showing up. Atom was his name right? Whatever, right now things are peaceful. All that leaves is maintaining that peace. Heck, Crobalt's usual annoying for once isn't annoying. He just lets the bakugan ramble. The serpent of course runs with the mood. So he's chill now too. Nothing can go wrong right now.

[Ren Nakamura]

Meanwhile nearby was a young man who was walking through the streets, some idiot had found him and now the young man was walking trying to just get away to somewhere quiet. He could feel the pain still from the punch that had been sent his way and was feeling a swell up of destruction energy inside him. He knew he was not safe outside for much longer, him and the innocence around him. Luckily for the young man, most didn't seem to recognize him, but there were some like the idiot who did and felt it was their duty to punish him. As if the young man hadn't been punished enough by one certain chaotic man in shield already. But now wasn't the time to think about that. He looked around for any store he could sip in and hang out in for a while.

Then a sign caught his eye. Game Gunner. "Strange name, but it will work" The young man, making sure to keep his hands in his pockets as he headed inside. He seemingly nodded towards the casher, Vail and walked to a part of the shop where the idiot would hopefully not spot him. The young man let out a small sigh as two Bakugan popped up on his shoulder. "You sure you couldn't have just brawled me out? That punk is nothing to me" A Ventus Bakugan stated, opening up to reveal itself to be a Dharak. The young man chuckled a little, "Thanks Dharak, but no I am sure. The last I need is the idiot crying wolf to shield"

"But even they can't deny it would be asked for" Dharak continued, not seeing the point. The other Bakugan then opened up a Darkus Hydranoid. "Dharak, be quiet, the shield isn't like that, not with him anyway. He needs to lay low, so he can redeem himself, remember?" The Hydranoid stated, narrowing its eyes at Dharak. The Dharak turned away and huffed. "Still seems stupid to me" Dharak commented before the two would begin to argue, like an angel devil on the shoulder situation. The young man couldn't help but chuckle. He hoped the shopkeeper would not recognize who he was from any news and such, and if they did, it wouldn't end up badly.

Vail's smile shatters. It doesn't drop, but his frozen face wont even reveal how annoyed he is. Another weird moron. And from SHIELD too. He thinks. Taking a deep breath.

"Hello there. Welcome to Game Gunners. We deal in many games, and more. Seeing the bakugan I can already guess your game."

"You sound so forced Vail. Relax man." The snake bakugan informs everyone. Its now the facade breaks. Starting with an eye twitch. Then a loud bash as Crobalt is embedded into the counter top. His "Cheery face" is anything but cheery.

"Okay. I'm going to regret this. Spill. SHIELD brawlers visit my shop often. You are no exception. So spill your secrets." He has a glare, and yes. He is fully attempting to use his gundalian mind control. Trust is something he cannot afford this person. . . And is that the rich brat behind him! Oh no, as if one headache wasn't enough. Now he has him to deal with.

[Ren Nakamura]

The young man could only sigh, making his two Bakugan close their ball forms, stopping their little argument. "I can assure you, Sir, I am NOT a part of Shield. If I even dared to enter the Shield building I would likely come face to face with over a hundred members that still hate me and most of all the most dangerous Beta of Shield, Grimm. I'd rather like to live and not die before I can make up for all the innocent Bakugan I previously stole, mind-controlled, all the innocent I battled and hurt. I just want to move on and make up for all I did while corrupted by my old abilities. Nothing more, nothing less. But it seems people don't want Ren Nakamura to move on" The young man, said before making himself be quiet before he spilt anything more about who he was. If the guy didn't know who he was, he must have known now hearing that name. The name was in the news for weeks, after his attacks and his final standoff with SHIELD. Meanwhile the idiot had found Ren and had began to talk mighty to him. Ren might of been mind controlled at that moment, but he had enough control that his eye twitched and a hand moved out from a pocket, a flow of deep purple energy around his fist. 

The dragonoid opened back up and noticed the enrgy and so hit Ren in the neck. "Ren no! If you do that, the beta will then certainly know and then you'll never get to move on!" The dragonoid called out, knowing Ren didn't really want to use his Destruction power. Ren forced himself to put his hand back in his pocket. It was times like this Ren was grateful for his new bakugan. They were more helpful then he likely ever deserved after all he did, and he was thankful. But the question was, what would this gundalian that was mind controlling him do with him now. 

[Vail]

Vail disables the control. ". . . I charge extra for this service. But I can help you . . . retain control by controlling your mind. . . But I charge a lot." Money has his attention, and Ren looks like someone who will pay in the end. "This is my starting price." He slides a four figure number. "I should mention. This power gives me headaches. And the painkillers needed for this are expensive. You have three months per bill. Sounds like a deal?" He's being generous. Besides, making Ren into an actual customer saves him a lot of energy. Its also the excuse he needs a lot right now. His Merchantile instincts are also helping him guess the issue at hand. He has another customer who is a drug addict that needed help with restraint. That was three months of well earned money, and a repeat customer Vail is glad to see often.

"Vail. Rich brat is coming. . . Hurry!" Crobalt is somehow free from the counter.

[Ren Nakamura]

Ren was surprised about being offered help, more so after spilling out his own name. Ren was glad to have control over his words at least again and thought his words carefully. "That's kind of you, kinder than I likely deserve. Normally, I am fine, just not around idiots that hit me and annoy me. They don't realize how...dangerous and destructive my power can be if one is not careful." Ren explained, sighing a little. Hydranoid, then decided to speak up. "Ren, maybe you should, I mean it's a lot, but one less thing to worry about right? Maybe if you have less to worry about, things will fix itself?" Hydranoid commented, making Dharak speak up next. "Fix itself, sounds childish to me, just give me the word Ren and beat this idiot punk out of here" Dharak commented, he didn't see why Ren wouldn't just let him hit them, he wouldn't hurt the kid that bad. "Dharak, no. And I guess your right Hydranoid, Sir you have a deal, for now." Ren answered, it was a good thing he had bene able to keep that money he had from his AL4 days, that money would help him a lot now.

[Vail]

Vail does his work. Since this moment is a rush. He informs Ren to come back after he's handled someone else, but that the subconscious command is in place. Then after Ren moves. The rick brat comes up.

"I have come here to inform you that I am b. . . " He gets punched in the face. Breaking the nose again.

"TRESPASSING. LEAVE NOW." He says with every ounce of venom he can manage. The rich brat goons drag him out. Sighing, he waits for Ren to finish his business. Also when Ren does come back to the counter. Crobalt is free and wont stop talking. Vail puts a cup over him. Perfectly silencing the snake bakugan.

[Ren Nakamura]

Ren did not get much chance to say much else as Vail mind suggested him to move and wait a minute. Ren sighed to himself, he was starting to understand why people hated him so much, so hate him so much. When the idiot gets made to leave. "See, just punch him!" Dharak commented, making ren, force him to close him back up again and then put him in a pocket where he cannot be loud or annoying. Ren then sighes and came back when able. "I'm starting to understand why people hated me so much, really not fun when you're on the receiving end. Grimm could have at least let me keep my mind control defence, but I guess he wants me to suffer as much as possible...I can't really blame them, or any of them. The problem with power, it can corrupt you if not prepared. My planet was right about Psy after all, late to learn the lesson now" Ren mostly thought out loud. "Ren, you're thinking out loud again," Hydranoid told ren. "Oh, oops"

[Vail]

"That doesn't matter here. You are a valuable customer now. . . And seeing things are bit rough right now. I would like to offer you a job. I can tell you don't have a set way to pay from that blabbermouth and I need a new employee. Running this place by myself has gotten a bit to much. Know this. You will be here every hour we are open, and the hour before and after. But you will be able to pay off your bill in three months as a result." How incredibly devious this man is. Merchantile instincts are dead on the point. But there may not be another chance to be able to get a job. This man clearly couldn't care less about Ren's past.

"Yeah. Work for us. Vail works this whole shop alone." The snake bakugan adds.

"I side with Crobalt on this. Rare I know." He flings the bakugan away before it can say anything. Vail's rare kindness is also showing.

[Ren Nakamura]

"Very well, we have a deal, I shall work here. Maybe I will even learn how to handle my powers without mind control" Ren said, adding a light-hearted joke at the end. Besides, maybe he could learn a few things, brawling with non-vanguardian Bakugan and cards was still weird for him. He would never admit that out loud though, he didn't need more of a weakness.

Ren would be started that day. Uniform not needed. Convenient, and would start that day. Turns out, Ren would learn that there is a lot more to running a shop than he would think.
