Personality: Can look quite miserable, or often daydreaming and quite detached from the world around him. Once you start talking to Grendel, you'll find he's incredibly easy to talk to and comforting to be around. Despite this, he can be quite a wild and erratic character, with bundles of energy in certain situations and adrenaline that can really get pumping. He never takes himself too seriously, and doesn't get too down about things that effect him. However, he is surprisingly stubborn and competitive, always trying to take on fights he has confidence in winning (though mainly for fun of course).
Positive Traits: Creative, Independent, Observant, Adaptable
Negative Traits: Air Head, Manipulative, Entrenched, Arrogant
Strengths: A good judge of character, understanding how people feel. Good at assuming what a person is like. Can easily get under someone's skin if he wishes.
Weaknesses: Sensitive to criticism. Doesn't like to be the centre of attention by too many people, but likes to outshine others when in a small group. Can get easily distracted, and is also one to believe silly lies.
Appearance: Standing at 5'9", Grendel doesn't stand out much from a crown. His hair is a chestnut brown with lighter streaks through it, and his skin is a pale peach-like colour with a few freckles along his nose. His eyes are a dark green, though look blue occasionally in certain light. Grendel isn't overly muscular, but he is physically fit and healthy, and quicker than he looks.
Character Story: Born and raised in the British countryside, Grendel lived a fairly recluse life with not much going for him. He wasn't terrible in school, but he wasn't great either. The only real talent he has is for art, but has always dreamt of something greater, waiting for a time the world wouldn't seem so boring and dull to him. Of course, when Bakugan arrived, he poured his heart and soul into it, his own escape from reality and giving him a true sense of purpose. A lot of the time is spent with his bakugan, ignoring day to day life and escaping his small home whenever he gets the chance. Of course bakugan isn't forever, and he'll have to study and get a secure job eventually. But for now, Grendel is like that creature you hear in fairy tales, flitting in and out of your life causing trouble or just making yours more interesting.
