A Very Busy Day

[Vail]

Vail is helping a new brawler. So he couldn't run the main store. Lucky for him, Abis started talking. Much to that bakugan's dismay. He was left to help run the shop. Which was busy that day. Another tourney was being held, and strict rules were put in place since a certain someone named Atom got himself banned from the shop, and several other. They broke a lot of things. He was rightfully not happy, and they all payed for the repairs and then some.

"Ren. Sssee to that thossse at table Sssseve get their cardsss." Abis hisses. Abis was handling a purchase. He got really good at this in the end. "Thank you for you patronage." He says to the departing customers.

[Ren Nakamura]

It had been a while since Ren had seen Alice in the shop and in that time, he had destressed a bit where he wasn't worried about accidentally using destruction energy on people even when annoyed. Oh! And his Dharak had finally learned restraint so he could count on Dharak to handle bad customers. So if you ranked everyone on their bodyguard ranking, Dharak is likely in the top 5 now. So that is what Dharak was doing, going round to the tables making sure, no one cheated and no one was being a nuisance.

Ren heard Abis telling him to go to table seven. "On it!" He called out, as he grabbed a few sets of cards and headed over there. "Here you go, enjoy the cards. If anything confuses you be sure to ask" Ren said with a smile before heading back to his post with Abis. Then the two would see Dharak lightly launch himself at someone's head before talking to them. "Hey, buddy! I saw that! Your first warning, try it again your out of the shop" Dharak told them before hopping over to check another table.

Ren couldn't help but chuckle. "You gotta admit, despite his methods Dharak is learning quite well," Ren commented before the two would hear a bang at the back door. "Huh?" Ren let out as he opens the door. At the doorway is this hovering big box of stock. "Huh?" Ren exclaimed, very confused.  "Hi. I can't fly with the box. So I was unable to open door" Hydranoid spoke, having bene under the box, carrying it. He walks in, places the box down and then hops onto teh counter. "Oh, cheers Hydranoid"

[Vail]

A display shows off Vail's brawl. He's just finished helping a new player. Then its the rich brat. How did her get there? Doesn't matter. The guy challenges Vail. He must be in that mood as Vail agrees. Which Abis, and Dongora react with shock. The derpy subterra attribute starts running around in silent panic. "Vail issss. . . . . He'ssss not gonna sssspare the lad." Dongora takes a moment to nod then gets back to running in around in circles. ". . . Money ssssayssss Vail desssstroyss him."

"Vail. You have refused my offer to many times. TIME TO LOSE! Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan stand! Rise Aquos Tayleen!" The bakugan rises and takes a battle ready stance.

"Bakugan brawl! Bakugan Stand! Rise Subterra Crobalt!" He looks very serious.

"Oh look at that. A twig made of water. Careful. Flowers grown on me die." He mocks the bakugan and the rich brat.

[Ren Nakamura]

"And off he goes, man, why does he get all duels? I need a stretch after carrying boxes all day" Hydranoid commented as ren chuckled and pats him. "He is the owner of the store. Besides, you wouldn't spare him either and me doing it would look bad" Ren responded, he hated the public image thing of being an ex villain. "True, man public images suck. You're not that guy anymore. Who cares if you beat an idiot in a duel without holding back" Hydranoid commented, which made Ren chuckle more. "Yeah I hear you bud, but in that way, all humans are idiots" The two then decide to watch the brawl from their post and see if they can pick a few bits here and there. "So Ren, how long will he last?" Hydrnaoid asks, still watching. Ren smirks a little, a small remnant of his old smirk. Though this smirk was from amusement. "Two seconds, once Vail actually let him lose"

[Vail]

"Ability Activate! Aquos Tornado!" Tayleen begins to spin and pull up water and forms a vortex. Then dives at Crobalt who weaves as the attacks continue. Then he smirks.

"I can feel a fire in my belly." Vail opens the gate card. "Gate card open! Crobalt Gate." The bakugan gains more power than Tayleen and slaps it aside. "Nice try twig. But you are made of water. So try not to splash around to much." Crobalt will use his tail to begin wiping Tayleen. Remember: Crobalt has cobalt chunks growing out of him. These aren't small chunks either. They seem shinier than normal too.

"Ability Activate: Aqous Subterra convergence!" Crobalt looks a little weaker all the sudden. The real sign was when Tayleen caught Crobalt's tail.

"You thief!" The snake shouts out. Only to get pulled into a spin and flung at a wall.

[Ren Nakamura]

Ren and Hydranoid both winced a little as they watched Crobalt hit the wall. "That's gonna hurt" Hydranoid commented making Ren chuckle. "He only made it worse for himself" He commented before hearing a commotion somewhere. "Hey! Buddy! I already warned you!" Dharak spoke as Ren then walked over. "I'm the great Ren get out of my way peasant" The guy commented, making Ren turn serious. He placed a hand on their shoulder.


"I suggest you leave the building. Before my boss decides to kick you out himself" Ren told them, voice serious, his face that of a leader protecting his friends. It seemed now he wasn't stressed, his personality could start coming back without the corrupting influence. He wasn't aware of this though. "Well my brawl is over and you can't do anything to me. You have no power, you couldn't even beat me in a brawl if you tried" The guy boasts grabbing his Bakugan and a few cards.


"Hydranoid" Ren called out Hydranoid quickly came over to his shoulder. "Dharak, look after things. Here's the deal kid. We brawl, you win you can stay, you lose you get out of this shop" Ren said coming over to the other side of that playing field. "Easy. Deal." If only the guy knew what he just did.


"Gate Card Set!" Ren called out, throwing his gate down. "Bakugan Brawl, stand Darkus Hydranoid" Hydranoid stood and roared loudly and smirked. "Finally can stretch my legs. As you for kid, I feel sorry for you. Good luck staying in here" Hydranoid taunted, he knew with what was said Ren would not hold back.


"Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Darkus Percival!" The guy shouted as he threw his Bakugan down. "So this Ren hey? Looks weak to me. Lets crush them."


"Idiots" Dharak commented before going back to work.

[Vail]

Abis activates a dimensional protection field. Costed over ten grand and Vail ate really cheep foods for several months. He got it because of other select idiots warping space time in his shop and need ever precaution noted. Another reason was SHIELD nearby. That had more accidents happen lately. and he just got the place insured. Why is London so prone to disaster? "Everyone can continue on with what they were doing. Do be careful though." He gets stepped on by Hydranoid. Only for when Hydranoid to move; Abis is shown to be completely untouched. Hey free entertainment is free entertainment.

Dongora takes to doing Hydranoid's duties. Its adorable how it flips the box onto it and runs around. Even opening the by just charging through it. "Shelf five needs restocking. . . Table three needs these cards. . . Interspace two needs maintenance. . . Thank you for your patronage. . . . Dharak table nine needs cleaning." All while in the background Vail toys with the rich brat.

"Ability Activate! Metal Blood!" Crobalt sprays a liquid metal from his mouth at Tayleen who is looking terrible. Crobalt looks like he is on fire. . . Literally. The two pay it no mind. "This battle is over any last words?"

"Yeah. Baku Nano!" Tayleen gets a small weapon added onto him. Vail looks surprised. Not, he just groans as the Tayleen pets Crobalt. But the bakugan doesn't even flinch. The bakumeter must be busted.

Subterra Crobalt minus 2 5 0 gs. Subterra Crobalt G-Power Increase and Rising.

[Ren Nakamura]

Dharak gets to doing what he can, as Ren and Hydranoid pay no mind to Vail's battle. Hydranoid watches Percival's poor attempt at looking big and strong. "Ren, let's use the new card. This show these poor imitations why you never mess with the real thing" Hydranoid states as Ren just simply nods and gets it out. "Ability active, Carnage Fang," Ren announces as the card activates. Before them, a second Hydranoid appears as they both smirk and charge at the Percival that is suddenly red.

"What did they do to me?!" Percival cries out, as he gets bitten hard by both hydranoids.

Darkus Percival changed to Pyrus, Darkus Hydranoid cloned. Ren's total now 1 0 0 0 gs

"That's nothing. Ability Activate! Dark Sword!" The guy calls out activating his own card, as Percival changes back to Darkus, the clone disappears and then a dark sword appears in Percival's hand. "Time to crush you!" Perical calls out as he charges at Hydranoid who felt a bit weaker.

Pyrus Percival back to Darkus, Darkus Hydranoid minus 3 0 0 gs

"What an insult. Pretends to be me, uses a Percival to be Diablo, and even uses a poor imitation of my old cards. But I can see from your tiny set you only got one chance to beat me left. So try and make it good" Ren insulted as he got another card out. "Ability Activate! Destructive Burst! Followed by Gate Card Open! Hydranoid Booster!" Ren called out holding out an ability card and opening the gate.

Dark Sword negated. Percival loses 1 5 0  gs. Clone returned to the fields. Darkus Hydranoids gains  7 0 0 gs. New totals 3 5 0 gs  2 4 0 0 gs

The guy watched as the sword disappeared with Percival returned to Pyrus once more. Hydranoid's clone returned and they both recieved the boost from the gate card. The guy looked down at his final card and sighed. "Damn it!" He called out and Ren looked to his Hydranoid. "As I thought, a fusion. Hydranoids, end this for me" Ren commented as both Hydranoids nodded. They both charged at the Percival, slashes them with thier claws, returning them to ball form. 

"Now then, I won. I suggest you grab your things, leave the shop and never return" Ren said,  fixing his hair, grabbing Hydranoid and going back to his post. The guy annoyed but accepting defeat leaves the shop. "You good?" Hydrnaoid asks Ren. "I will be. If someone is gonna try and be my corrupted self at least do it some justice" Ren responded, trying to let off alight hearted joke at the end. There was no use being angry,  the combo was good, until you wasn't fighting newbies. Normal players usally had negates. 

[Vail]

When things go back to normal and the guy leaves. A commotion can be heard from the crowd. Everyone that isn't staff has been watching Vail and Crobalt, but something is not right. "CROBALT!" Vail sounds worried, and the Rich Brat is extremely confused. Even the Tayleen stopped to just stare. "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Crobalt sounds like he is in agony and is literally on fire. The cobalt deposits on his body is melting, and encasing him. If Ren sees that, it would only mean one thing. The biggest give away is Vail's hand. No one else has noticed his card glowing. Then it stops, but Crobalt is encased. "CROBALT!" Vail screams.

"Something is not right?" Abis comments. "Should I put an end to this brawl?"

[Ren Nakamura]

Ren is shocked by what he saw, he had no idea Crobalt was that close. "Nonononononono" Ren muttered out as he stared at the screen. "Why now? Why there? Vail has no idea and is doing nothing. If he does nothing then-...I likely wouldn't get there in time." Ren thought aloud before sighing. "Sorry Vail. But this be our best bet" Ren focused pointing an outstretched hand to the screen, aiming for crobalt. 

His first aim was to try and reduce his pain, that way the evolution would be less likely to kill him. But if Ren found this way was not working, he would turn to his second aim. This second aim was to increase the pain and the burning and melting, to try and speed up the evolution and hope crobalt could take it. He didn't like messing with other people's Bakugan but desperate times called for desperate measures.

[Vail]

Crobalt's screaming stopped. Still he is surging with power, and after finally looking the glowing card. Vail just uses it and the name just comes to his mind. "Ability Acitvate! Serpens Flamma!" At first nothing happened. Rich Brat was about to laugh when Tayleen put up a guard. It didn't matter when all the sudden the metal casket cracks and shatters. Crobalt covered in flame charges out, and digs into the ground. He comes from under bashes Tayleen. The fire dies out, and His form covered in sections cobalt deposits is no more. The now line his body in beautiful patterns of flame. Partially liquified too. Allowing them to bed and move with his body. They kind act like armor. The most striking feature outside of the new shades of red is the steam. Like the metal is burning hot. "GUESS WHAT! I'm BURNING UP! Hah get it? Because I'm BURNING CROBALT NOW!" Vail nods with a content smile. "Ability Activate!" They speak in unison. Many brawlers with deep bonds can pull this off. "Lava de Prisión" Crobalt spews forth burning metal and lava encasing half of the Tayleen. Sending it back to the rich brat, who falls to his knees. "There is no more water. Here I was hoping to get some drip." The snake jokes.

Abis then speaks. "He evolved. Wow. . . Also Vail won. Those who lost the bet pay up now." Abis starts collecting money.

[Ren Nakamura]

Ren sighed in relief when he saw the evolution complete. "Phew" He let out smiling, was nearly as close as Diablo's evolution was. "That's is how evolution happens?! Wow...seems stressful" Hydranoid commented, wondering when he would evolve himself. "That is because Bakugan is not guaranteed to survive their first evolution," Ren responded before tumbling back a little. "Ren! Are you okay?!" Hydrnaoid called out to his brawler. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine. I don't remember my destruction powers being this draining. But then again maybe this is the cost of not using them for a while. At least I was able to help Crobalt with it and not destroy him" Ren responded with a little comment at the end. "Wait, you used your destruction power on Crobalt?! Isn't that dangerous?" Hydranoid questioned Ren a little concerned. "With how long I have had it, I assume not. I know how it worked when I was corrupted, it just getting used to using it with this new state of mind. It's like Brawling, you never forget." Ren resasured his Bakugan. "I just need to regain energy before I use it again"

[Vail]

Vail comes out with rich brat in tow. Only to be seen dragging the brat, and kicking him out of the store for the who knows how many time again. He then turns around, and gets swarmed, but people remembered its Vail. So they reutrn to their daily routine, and do their best to not ask. Vail goes to Ren. "You look exhausted. Do you need a break?"

Abis then chimes in. "He was entering a brawl in the shop. Its a good thing we have the dimension thingamagig."

"Did you see what happened to me! Look at me now! I look amazing. Slender sleek and strong most of all. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I Burning Crobalt am unbeatable! GAAAH!" Vail grabs Crobalt, and chucks him at the box. "Not so unbeatable now huh."

[Ren Nakamura]

Ren smiled a bit at Vail asking if he needed a break. "Nah, I'll be fine thanks though" Ren commented, patting him on the shoulder. Then Abis mentioned his brawl and Ren rubbed the back of his head with a shy smile. "Well, the idiot not only tried to imitate me, a poor imitation by the way but was challenging newbies and defeating them with ease with only two cards, an ability and a fusion and one Bakugan, because no newbies had negate cards. He refused to leave and tried to say I had no power and couldn't beat him if I tried. So I beat his ass and kicked him out" Ren explained shaking his head a bit. "The guy is lucky you weren't around to see" Ren then commented chuckling.


"Ren, evolution?!" Hydranoid asked, figuring crobalt and vail would want to know about the dangers of first evolutions. "Oh right, thanks Hydranoid. Congrats Crobalt, well deserved. A note for the future though, first evolutions are dangerous and note that a Bakugan is not guaranteed to survive it. So please, do be careful, I might be Destruction but I don't want your Bakugan being destroyed upon trying to evolve.Besides, I need to focus at getting my two evolved. Someone has to catch Crobalt up" Ren spoke as Hydranoid bounced on the counter. "Heck yeah! I'm gonna evolve then I will kick your butt again Crobalt!" Hydranoid said, he loved a good challenge.

[Vail]

"Yeah whatever." He's back already? That was a quick recovery. "By the way? Am I supposed to no longer feel any form of physical pain?" Vail is visibly confused by this. He slams Crobalt to the ground, then repeated stomps. Only for Crobalt to float back up. "Yup. Felt it connect, but no pain what so ever." For those who recall. In the feed Crobalt appeared to be literally burning after his evolution. Maybe destruction power altered the evolution process a little to much.

"I have. . . To buy more pain killers. Crobalt is now literally unstoppable." Vail just walks away. Returning to his post he does. Crobalt teasing Vail along the way.
